What are shelf brackets?

The shelves are usually used in the bedroom and garage. In both the case you need the shelf brackets and there are certain things to be taken care while buying the shelf brackets. There are number of shelf brackets available and you should buy the one as per the load. The right angle brackets have the one arm longer as compared to the other one. So the long arm is to be fixed in wall and follow the instructions carefully.

Shelf brackets as per load

The width of the shelf should be more than 25mm and it should be greater than the horizontal arm length. There are large overhangs which make the shelf overloaded and it can cause the failure of brackets. So make sure that you secure the shelves with the screws with brackets. For the heavy loads the high strength pressed steel is used. It has the aluminum bracket which supports the shelf. It usually comes in fixed length but it can vary at times.

For medium and light loads the narrow shelves are more suitable where the brackets are too large. They are deigned to reinforce in the corner of cabinet and it is suitable for shelves. For medium and heavy loads there are varieties of styles and it includes the wrought iron, pressed steel ad both have holes for screw and also have the steel pin support. For light loads the aluminum or pressed steel is used and it has holes for screws. So while buying the shelf brackets make sure about the load.
