Wood blinds to introduce Organic look in my living area

Few months back I have incorporated some wood blinds in my living area to create an organic and natural look. I love all the natural shades of wood ranging from light brown, Honey brown to dark brown.

Window treatment for bathrooms and kitchens

Wood blinds are a great treatment for kitchen and bathrooms since the work two way. You can Flat them when you are bathing are doing some private work in the bathrooms and can open them up later to exhaust the moisture and humidity from the bathroom. For kitchen you can unwind in night however you can have maximum light and air in day time.

Cleaning wood blinds

Cleaning up wood blinds can be somehow technical and inconvenient. You cannot wash them like the curtains. You cannot apply ordinary cleaners to make them clean. While performing cleaning it is advised to dry clean the wood blinds. For that matter you can use a vacuum pump or simply wipe dust with a soft cloth to make cleaning easy. You can use a small brush adjustable to the width of the blind to brush away any excess dust. Also another idea is to flat the blinds as it also facilitates cleaning more conveniently. After that spray wood cleaner on a soft cloth and gently clean the wood blinds. Once you are done with this unwind the blind and let the air right through it so that no moisture is left in the wood blinds.
