Traditionally boys’ bedrooms were not given much attention and planning. But now even a boy’s room can be decorated with as much creativity as a girl’s bedroom. Decorating a boy’s bedroom is an easy and fun task. When planning to design your son’s bedroom the first thing you need to consider is whether you’ll be giving the room a theme or not. If you’re designing the room around a cartoon character or a movie, you should be buying furniture with the theme images painted on it. Most of the furniture markets have such furniture easily available. Or you could simply buy the furniture and get it painted. You could put paintings of the movie or the cartoon character in the room to make it more colorful and vibrant. One of the walls could also be painted according to the theme.
However, it is recommended that you don’t design a boy’s room based on a theme as you will have to redesign it after a few years. It is best to keep a boy’s bedroom furniture neutral so they may be able to use it for a longer period of time. For a Boy’s bedroom furniture you would need a bed, a desk and chair and a sofa. Keep as little furniture as possible so that your toddler may have some space to play around. Boys usually like blue color so you can easily find a blue bed in the market. This blue bed can be mixed and matched with a green or brown sofa and a brown work desk.
When designing a boy’s bedroom make sure to use dark colors so that they don’t get dirty that easily as boys tend to mess up their rooms very often.
